We are seeking a Program Manager to join Amazon Flex, to support in developing long term solutions for complex compliance and regulatory facing programs in APAC. The Program Manager works cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to understand and improve large-scale programs and initiatives. They will be responsible for acting quickly to solve immediate challenges, while also using high judgement to plan program changes that will deliver long term benefits to the program.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, passionate, highly analytical and detail-oriented, possess solid interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable working independently to drive change. They must demonstrate a track record for building and directing cross functional projects with internal stakeholders, strategic thinking, and success in all phases of business and team development. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the Amazon Flex business.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage a set of programs, in partnership with Product and Technology teams based in Seattle, as well as local in country Operation teams

• Set up scalable and reliable ways to measure success as part of every feature launch

• Make connections across the teams that are building solutions, identifying where we have gaps or redundancies; influencing leadership to streamline solutions and define mutually beneficial goals

• Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and balancing business needs versus technical or operational constraints

• Define a program vision and prioritize competing opportunities in a dynamic environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Business level of English (written, verbal)
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and/or program management
  • Experience developing & overseeing road map strategy from scratch


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree/MBA in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to cater these communications to different audiences
  • Experience in a complex compliance or regulatory environment
  • Excel proficiency, basic knowledge of SQL, experience with large data sets
  • Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
