Join the ACME team as we grow to take on exciting new opportunities!

Our team is looking for a customer-obsessed Sr

UX Designer to join us and help us continue to raise the bar for what we deliver. The ACME team within AWS Global Services focuses on two main objectives. One being to build automation solutions that help AWS Global Services scale to reach thousands of enterprise customers. The other objective is to identify needs or pain points for ourselves and external AWS customers, and build tools or services to solve those problems. We are free to build anything that has impact and value, and you can be the one to suggest the next big thing we build!

In this role you will work closely with design, engineering, and product partners to deliver and bar raise design solutions that elevate the end-to-end customer experience. Responsibilities will include surveying customers/stakeholders, contributing and maintaining design documentation, driving alignment across teams, and creating detailed design specifications for engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract, articulate complex use-cases and then be able to drive the vision into design deliverables and artifacts. You think first from the customer's perspective, use research and data to influence your decisions, set relentlessly high standards for yourself and deliver bar raising experiences.

Work/Life Balance

Our team puts a high value on work-life balance. Our team is diverse and geographically distributed with most of the team working out of their home office. We understand that work-life balance is important. We offer some flexibility in how you structure your work to suit your other life commitments while adhering to core office working hours.

Mentorship & Career Growth

Our team is dedicated to supporting new team members. Our team has a broad mix of experience levels and Amazon tenures, and we're building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing and mentorship.

Inclusive Team Culture

Here at AWS, we embrace our differences. We are committed to furthering our culture of inclusion. We have ten employee-led affinity groups, reaching 40,000 employees in over 190 chapters globally. We have innovative benefit offerings, and we host annual and ongoing learning experiences, including our Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon (gender diversity) conferences. Amazon's culture of inclusion is reinforced within our 16 Leadership Principles, which remind team members to seek diverse perspectives, learn and be curious, and earn trust.

This role can be performed near any US AWS office in the following cities:
