Our team, Audio Ads Creative Services, is looking for an experienced Sr. Manager for our US Audio Advertising programs, based in Los Angeles. This role will lead the US team in an effort to raise the creative bar for audio ads that run on Amazon Music and devices with Alexa. We need someone who can find the right balance between creative and operational imperatives to meet customer and business needs. You will be a thought leader who strategizes and delivers innovative recording solutions that enhance the customer experience (on time and within budget). You will be responsible for putting ideas into action that drive continuous improvement, scale production to meet high volumes, and increase efficiency without sacrificing quality. You will motivate and inspire a team of people to write and produce compelling audio-first experiences, while simultaneously building strong relationships with US Sales, Product, Finance, Policy, External Vendors, and Legal partners.
The right person for this role is highly capable of leading through influence across creative businesses, operations, and technology. You have experience managing a team and are able to work directly and indirectly across the US. You have a great track record of delivering complex projects and have impressed stakeholders at all levels with your proficiency in both verbal and written communication. You have demonstrated problem-solving skills across both technical and non-technical teams. You know how to scale resources, processes, and tools to support a fast growing, start-up like business.
Key job responsibilities
Lead all functions within US creative services- meeting operational goals and metrics.
Maintain a high degree of attention to detail when managing project planning efforts, scheduling, and budgeting.
Anticipate changing priorities and implement plans to meet business needs.
Leverage technology to improve the customer experience at scale.
Create external partnerships with vendors and agencies to leverage resources and cost advantages, negotiating contracts as needed.
Use customer feedback and data to identify and solve for complex audio challenges and opportunities.
Provide industry expertise and build plans to differentiate the audio experience for customers.
Provide leadership, mentoring, training, development, and performance management to the US studio team.
Create budget controls to drive accuracy in forecasting and estimating.
Develop KPIs and reports on the efficacy of the US Audio Ads Creative Service team to drive improvements.

10+ years in a leadership role within a creative environment
Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to establish credibility and influence with technical and non-technical business owners
Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment when working in stressful situations
Broadcast production experience
3+ years leading teams
Experience working with global brands
A deep interest in understanding the creative strategy for audio products and services
Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from creative stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong listening and problem-solving skills
Self-starter that can operate efficiently within ambiguous situations
Experience with services or products within the ad technology or programmatic advertising space
