Job summary
The Associates Business Development Team is seeking a highly organized, self-directed Sr. Product Marketing Manager to define and drive affiliate marketing/go-to-market launches, content, program management, and business strategy for strategic Amazon businesses, including but not limited to, Prime Video, Amazon Music, Audible, and more, across Amazon marketplaces worldwide.

The individual in this role dives deep to gather data on high converting and emerging categories to craft marketing and content strategy and ensures Associates demand for top priorities via elevated, shoppable affiliate content. As the marketing strategy lead, this individual is responsible for building and growing highly effective partnerships internally with business teams, central and category marketing teams. Externally, this individual will represent multiple Amazon brands and business priorities to publishers and influencers.

This critical team member will demonstrate strong ownership and maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership. They are an excellent problem solver, identifying priorities and trade-offs, anticipating and managing potential blockers to achieve goals with a comprehensive understanding of the Associates channel and performance measurement. They thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail. This individual will be a subject matter expert for the Associates channel across multiple categories. This role is based in New York.

Key job responsibilities
As a leader for the Associates channel, this individual will:
• Own affiliate marketing goals for new and existing strategic Amazon businesses worldwide
• Own performance goals to support product launches, top categories, and business priorities across multiple categories
• Own the content strategy and performance optimization of Associates communications
• Manage email and site communications to influencers, creators, and Associates
• Educate and support the Associates business development team on best practices and storytelling with key Associates
• Support program management on product feature development and tech integrations
• Regularly evolve and present strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership via meetings and document writing
• Develop reporting methodologies and owns data analysis

About the team

Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ years relevant professional experience in affiliate and/or cross-channel marketing strategy
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 + year in Online Marketing, Ecommerce, or Merchandising roles
• Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to capture and use various data points to develop and measure marketing programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence teams and stakeholders
• Highly detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• A passion for affiliate and influencer marketing and understanding of its business impact
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6+ years of progressive responsibility in marketing and brand advertising
• Highly detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
• MBA or master's degree in economics, marketing, finance or related fields
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills including working with budgets and efficiency KPIs
• Proven track record of delivering high quality campaigns in very dynamic environments
• Deep understanding of Associates marketing
