The Amazon Adapt team sits horizontally inside the Field Sales Organization to deliver seamless sales service during gaps in business coverage because of Leaves of Absence, Roles To Be Hired, and unexpected growth opportunity. One example of this is our flex week (30+ hours) role designed to accommodate a growing demand for flexible work schedules while still delivering bar-raising advertising customer experience and revenue targets. As a Senior Account Executive on the Adapt team, you will report to the Amazon Adapt Sales Manager and use your 15+ years' experience helping to bridge the gap between permanent AE coverage on Fortune 500 accounts. You will sell digital advertising solutions to C-Level and their ad agencies to successfully drive revenue targets. You will be fluid and rotate from account to account depending on needs of the business, proven expertise and personal growth goals, imprinting a legacy on each advertising customer and vertical you serve and collecting new experiences and expertise as you go. You will partner with the coverage Sales Manager you're supporting and respective operations team to structure coverage for success, and cross-pollinate learnings with each new account assignment. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships within the media world, consultative approach and deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell a broad range of advertising solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met. You will impart expert perspectives and own solutions internally to support sales and coverage excellence and refine the Adapt team processes. As an individual contributor, you'll be supported by our operations team and will benefit from working alongside the leadership team that has charted our explosive growth. As a full-time employee, you will leverage your senior leadership skills and depth of experience to help shape the expectations and deliverables of flex week schedules.

This opportunity is scoped for a full-time (40 hour) position, but could be flex week (30-39h) for the right candidate.


Basic Qualifications:
• Experience closing sales and generating revenue
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years digital ad sales experience as an individual contributor
• Demonstrated ability to consistently close sales and generate revenues
• Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally very quickly
• Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
• Strong analytical abilities
• Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and to present both over the phone and in person
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors' degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
• Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
• 15+ years of relevant work experience
• Previous experience working in e-commerce
